Could the weather be any more perfect?

The weather was *perfect* today for some fun time at Animal Kingdom. I went to Rafiki's Planet Watch -- Petted a Skink, and some goats. I also was very excited to finally meet Brer Rabbit with Brer Bear at the entrance. Kilimanjaro Safari's didn't have many animals out, but we did have to stop for a White Rhino in our path.

The weather was gorgeous and the crowds were small -- I walked right on to Expedition Everest. I love the smaller crowds and great weather this time of year!

Samantha Brown's Disney Favorites

I just watched this special on Travel Channel. I do love Samantha Brown. She really gets the Disney Magic, and I secretly want to hang out with her.

She had a couple of good tips. In France at EPCOT, they have a slushy Grand Marnier drink that she says is good. She gives the usual good tips like explaining FastPass and recommending you take a break at the resort in the heat of the day and the usual practical advice. She also showed this really cool Vine Lady at Animal Kingdom - this woman looks like she's walking ivy. I'm sure she's on stilts of some kind, but she just kind of quietly lurks in the trees and smiles. Cool!

I am completely jealous that Samantha Brown got to go to Cirque du Soleil and do the fabric-hanging-from-the-ceiling trick with the trainers! That is my favorite part!

I was also excited to see a preview of the Nemo attraction at Disneyland in the old 20,000 Leagues submarines. It looks great. I wasn't sure if I should let it be a surprise, but I couldn't resist watching.

When will I go to a Disney Park again?

Here are some recent photos of me and a bunch of family members. My favorite is the RARE photo of us with both Pluto and Goofy! We were the last family they let in for the group and since we had a cute little one with us, Goofy followed us over to Pluto's photo area, too! They were so fun.

This Goofy was really great with interacting with us.

I noticed that her Grotto in the WDW pics I've seen on this site, that her WDW Grotto looks different - bigger!

This is the only time I met Mickey in his doorway.

This Queen of Hearts was just walking around the Hub. I asked for her autograph, and she was being all cute with me, really funny, but that other girl in the picture kept butting in. I dont know her and she weirded me out and got in my picture.

OK, this is not an official character -- its a Goat. At the petting zoo in Frontierland. the CM told me her name was Madam Mimm and I thought that was cool. I think they all had villain names.
